SNAP PROGRAM

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides nutrition benefits to eligible, low-income individuals and families. It is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net. It is an initiative to support the nutritional needs of citizens/residents through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This program aims to help low-income individuals supplement their grocery budget, ensuring access to nutritious food vital for health and well-being. All citizens/residents are eligible to receive an Independence Card pre-loaded with $15,000. This card can be used at any grocery store or supermarket that accepts SNAP benefits. The program is designed to assist individuals and families in need, providing them with the means to purchase food and maintain a healthy diet. Temporary exemptions are now in effect, making it easier than ever to qualify.
